SEWER MAIN CLEANING TO START APRIL 23, 2018
CITY OF CLOQUET
The City of Cloquet Sewer Department will begin cleaning sewer mains on Monday, April 23rd and continuing through the entire months of May, June, July, August, September and into October. The focus this year will be the areas north of the St. Louis River which including Dunlop Island, and the region generally south of Prospect Ave and east of the Washington School, south to I35, including FDLTCC. Cleaning will be done between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Sewer customers in the immediate cleaning area may temporarily experience sewer gas odors and bubbling toilets or drains due to the cleaning process. If sewer odors are noticed, it is advisable to refill any p-traps of basement or seldom used drains by pouring a little water down each drain.
