Registration for the 5th Annual Christmas Lighting Challenge begins Friday, Nov. 1.
The contest is free to enter. Voting, which is done by the public for homes and businesses, begins Nov. 30 and ends Dec. 19. The winners will be announced Dec. 20 in four categories:
- Grand Master — Master winners that have won two years. They must remain in this category for five years.
- Master — Homes that have won the previous two years.
- Lighting Challenge Winners — Best in home and best in business based on the number of total votes overall per city.
- Favorite City — Vote for your favorite city to encourage friendly regional competition.
Winners in Duluth, Superior and Cloquet will receive a gift basket with over $100 in prizes and gift card from local retailers and an award to commemorate their win.
Registration ends Dec. 6.
Bentleyville, along with St. Luke’s, the Superior Chamber of Commerce and Business Improvement District, and the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce and other sponsors, support this event.
