REACH Mentoring competes for contest money; voting underway

REACH Mentoring program is in a race against time to win $5,000. A link on the REACH Facebook page allows supporters to vote for one of two nonprofits vying for the money.

REACH is one of eight finalists competing for the money. The vote for REACH is noon Tuesday, Dec. 17, until 8 p.m. As of 3 p.m. REACH is ahead with 54% of the votes.

Grand Casino sponsors the event.

REACH Mentoring provides supportive mentoring between teens and caring adults in Carlton County.
