INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 100
(WRENSHALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS)
STATE OF MINNESOTA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election has been called and will be held in and for Independent School District No. 100 (Wrenshall Public Schools), State of Minnesota, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, for the purpose of voting on the following question:

Approval of School District Bond Issue

Shall the school board of Independent School District No. 100 (Wrenshall Public Schools) be authorized to issue its general  obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $12,500,000 to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including the renovation, repair,  remodeling, upgrading and construction of additions and improvements to the existing PK-12 school site and facility; the demolition of the existing Recreation Building; and the construction of a dedicated bus loading area and paved parking areas?

BY VOTING "YES" ON THIS BALLOT QUESTION, YOU ARE VOTING FOR A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.

The combined polling place for this election and the precincts served by that polling place will be as follows:

COMBINED POLLING PLACE: Wrenshall School
207 Pioneer Drive
Wrenshall, Minnesota

This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 100 located in the City of Wrenshall; and Blackhoof, Silverbrook, Twin Lakes, Wrenshall and Holyoke Townships; Carlton County, Minnesota.

Any eligible voter residing in the school district may vote at said election at the combined polling place designated above. The polls for said election will be opened at 12:00 o'clock noon and will close at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on the date of said election.

A voter must be registered to vote to be eligible to vote in this election. An unregistered individual may register to vote at the combined polling place on election day.
