NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARING - FOND DU LAC BAND OF LAKE SUPERIOR CHIPPEWA
The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa has opened a public comment period that began on August 4, 2014 and extends through October 13, 2014. As part of this comment period process, the Band will hold a public hearing on October 2, 2014 at Black Bear Resort and Casino in the Otter Creek Room from 2:00-9:00 PM. Informational sessions will occur at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Public verbal comments will be accepted in the remaining time. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input about the Fond du Lac Class I Air redesignation plan. Supporting documents can be reviewed on-line at

Paper copies are also available for review at Duluth Public Library (Main), Superior Public Library, Cloquet Public Library and the Fond du Lac Resource Management Building during normal business hours.
