'Hearts to Hands' collects warm clothing for nonprofits
Northview Bank launched its "Hearts to Hands" program Nov. 1. This program has provided new mittens, scarves and hats to local nonprofits for those in need. These nonprofits will be providing the donated items to families in need within the communities of Northview Bank. The collection season ran from Nov. 1 to Dec. 18.
Hearts to Hands collected nearly 1,550 hats, mittens and scarves. Each of its branch locations donated to charitable organizations. Carlton County recipients include:
• Cromwell — Tri-Community Food Shelf & Ruby's Pantry, 43 items;
• Barnum/Moose Lake — Moose Lake Food Shelf and Barnum School, 101 items.
