Twenty-seven teams and 125 players gathered for the 15th annual REACH Mentoring Golf Scramble Friday, Sept. 18, at Cloquet Country Club.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced a socially-distanced tournament, but Executive Director Dakota Koski said the event raised more than $40,000 for the Cloquet-based youth mentoring program — a new record.

The scramble featured 18 holes and players were provided dinner while out on the course, Koski said, with the team from Cloquet Bar and Lounge taking the top spot in the tournament.

“We want to thank everyone who was involved in this event, from the sponsors, golfers and volunteers to the staff at the CCC,” Koski said.
