A second car cruise will travel through Carlton County Saturday, May 16 in a route that also includes areas of West Duluth, Proctor and Hermantown.

Area car clubs and collectors will gather this weekend to share their enthusiasm for the hobby, with organizers expecting more than 100 vehicles in the lineup.

The group will leave at 10 a.m. from Nick Glumac Drive near Commonwealth Avenue in western Duluth, traveling through Fond du Lac, Jay Cooke State Park, Carlton, Scanlon, Cloquet, Proctor, Hermantown and the Edgewood Vista parking lot before heading down Piedmont Avenue and taking Skyline Parkway back across. The drive will end between 1 and 2 p.m. at Clyde Iron Works.

The route in Carlton County will continue out of Jay Cooke State Park on Highway 210 to Minnesota Highway 45 in Carlton. Participants will take a right on Highway 45 and follow it through Scanlon and Cloquet before taking a right on Minnesota Highway 33. The route will cross the St. Louis River and take a right on Minnesota Highway 2 to head back toward Proctor.
