The annual Holiday Celebration for area children and families will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in the student commons area and amphitheater at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet.

Plenty of food and beverages, games, and a visit from Santa Claus will highlight this free event. Bring a camera to take a photo with Santa, and there will be drawings for many prizes. No preregistration is necessary.

The Human Services Club and other student clubs and organizations at FDLTCC annually plan and host the Holiday Celebration. More than 200 people participate each year.

The annual Holiday Celebration was started 25 years ago in 1994 by the Human Services Club. The club is a student-based organization made up of students majoring in Human Services and Social Work. Members volunteer hundreds of hours each year for community events. Members of other student clubs and campus organizations also assist with planning and producing the Holiday Celebration.
