Round About Art Show and Parking Lot Variety Show, 4 p.m., Encore! Performing Arts Center & Gallery. Attendees are invited to travel around Carlton County enjoying local art from 4-7 p.m. Then at 7 p.m., the County Seat Theater will host a variety show in its parking lot. Holy Smokes Catering will serve food from 4-8 p.m.

Pop-up Storytime, 10 a.m., Happy Critters Farm, 2196 Brandt Rd, Barnum. The Cloquet Public Library's weekly story time will be held at Happy Critters Farm in Mahtowa. Join Ms. Keiko as she sings songs and reads a farm-themed story. The program is designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Attendees will also be able to tour the farm and play.

12th Annual Cloquet Croquet Invitational, 1-5 p.m., Cloquet Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College student scholarship fund. Registration details are available at fdltcc.edu .

Cromwell Class of 1961 reunion, 1 p.m., The Buffalo House, 2590 Guss Road, Duluth. The class’ 61st reunion will begin at 1 p.m. with a social gathering.

Snack Chat, 3:30-5:30 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. REACH sponsors the weekly event for kids. Participants will make a snack and chat with others while they eat.

Wrong Days in Wright. WD buttons are available at the Co-op store and Kalli's Place, along with $2 raffle tickets. Volunteers are needed to go around the area communities to gather prizes for the button drawings on Saturday. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Jennie Hanson at 218-357-2385.

Kids/Tween Bird Painting, 10-11:30 a.m., Cloquet Public Library. Children and teenagers ages 10 and over are invited to take part in a free painting program with Karen Savage-Blue, an enrolled member of the Fond du Lac Band of Ojibwe. NASA Space Camp, Cloquet Public Library. The Cloquet Public Library hosts NASA Space Camp from 1-4 p.m. July 18-22. Students who will be entering grades 5-10 can join youth services librarian Justin Dinger and (actual) NASA scientists as we try to discover “Where is the Power?” Students will use arduino r3 microcontrollers and block coding to help prioritize power usage on the International Space Station. Students will also have the option to stick around after camp on July 21 to watch “Apollo 13.” Call 218-879-1531 or stop by the library to register.

A Nesting Place, second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 1-2 p.m. Community Memorial Hospital/Raiter Family Clinic host the free group for new moms regardless of where their baby was delivered.
