Ping pong and air hockey for teens, 4-5 p.m., Cloquet Public Library.

Cloquet VFW Monthly Members Meeting, 6-8 p.m., Cloquet VFW. All members are welcome to attend.

Friday, March 11

Spring Craft, Art & Vendor Fair, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Black Bear Casino Resort, Carlton. The Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the event featuring area crafters, artists and vendors. The event will be held in the Otter Creek Event Center at Black Bear Casino Resort. Admission and parking are free.

Snack Chat, 3:30-5:30 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. REACH sponsors the weekly event for kids. Participants will make a snack and chat with others while they eat.

Saturday, March 12

Adult watercolor painting class with Lyn Jutila, 10 a.m. to noon, Cloquet Public Library. Participants will join Lyn Jutila to learn basic watercolor techniques to create a beautiful piece of unique art. While the program is free, registration is required. Sunday, March 13

Mojakka Cook-Off, noon to 4:30 p.m., Northeastern Hotel, Cloquet. The Carlton County Historical Society will hold its 16th annual mojakka cook-off. Attendees can taste 10-20 Finnish mojakka soups (beef, fish or vegetable). Bread and coffee will be provided. The cost is $9 at the door or $8 in advance. Those interested in entering mojakka can pick up an entry form at the Northeastern Hotel, or call 218-879-9968, 218-879-3312 or 218-393-0657. There is no fee to enter the contest.

Teen Reads, 4 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. The library's teen librarian will read aloud chapters from a current book. Snacks are provided.

Story Time, 10-10:30 a.m., Cloquet Public Library, Join Ms. Keiko as she sings songs and reads a story. The program is designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

Chair Yoga for all, 10-10:45 a.m., Cloquet Public Library. Carolyn Ripp of Nest Wellness Studio will lead a free session of Chair Yoga, which can increase flexibility, improve core strength and balance and reduce stress and pain. It can be beneficial for anyone who has desk work or tends to sit for long periods of time. Participants should dress in comfortable clothing. No previous experience is needed.

Kids DIY Watercolor Bookmark, 10-11:30 a.m., Cloquet Public Library. Linda Jutila will help participants create their own watercolor bookmark. The program is geared toward children ages 5 and up. Talking Broadband in Cloquet, 6 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. Join City of Cloquet staff to share your broadband stories, and to hear about results from the recent Cloquet Broadband survey, and completion of the Blandin Broadband Communities Program. This will be the first of two sessions on broadband in the city.

Grief Support Group meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Pine Room at Community Memorial Hospital.
