The event will be held in the Otter Creek Event Center at Black Bear Casino Resort. Admission and parking are free.

Mojakka Cook-Off, noon to 4:30 p.m., Northeastern Hotel, Cloquet. The Carlton County Historical Society will hold its 16th annual mojakka cook-off. Attendees can taste 10-20 Finnish mojakka soups (beef, fish or vegetable). Bread and coffee will be provided. The cost is $9 at the door or $8 in advance. Those interested in entering mojakka can pick up an entry form at the Northeastern Hotel, or call 218-879-9968, 218-879-3312 or 218-393-0657. There is no fee to enter the contest.

Chair Yoga for all, 10-10:45 a.m., Cloquet Public Library. Carolyn Ripp of Nest Wellness Studio will lead a free session of Chair Yoga, which can increase flexibility, improve core strength and balance and reduce stress and pain. It can be beneficial for anyone who has desk work or tends to sit for long periods of time. Participants should dress in comfortable clothing. No previous experience is needed.
