The annual Santa's Home for the Holidays festival in Cloquet began Wednesday, Dec. 4, with the Cloquet and Fond du Lac’s police departments' free chili feed. About 350 people attended the chili feed, which also had Elf Bingo. The police departments accepted donations of canned foods for the Cloquet Mobile Food Pantry.

The County Seat Theater began its performance of "Sorry! Wrong Chimney!" Wednesday, Dec. 4. The romantic comedy added one last performance Tuesday, Dec. 10.

“Overall, the events were very well-attended,” organizer Alyson Leno said. “The alumni game was very well attended this year and it was amazing having all of the Mite teams there playing between periods.”

The festival continued through the week, ending with a full day of events Saturday, Dec. 7. Parade winners were Halvor Lines, "Best Lit Float;" Cloquet Ford Chrysler Center, "Most Festive Float;" and Shooting Stars Dance, "Most Unique Float."
