Cloquet Senior High School Business Department announces Erin Genereau has been selected the "Business Student of the Month" for March. Students who apply for this award are chosen based on their activities, work experience, business courses, grades earned, a letter of recommendation, and an essay written by the student.
Genereau, a senior at CHS, is a bright, ambitious, exemplary young woman who is very involved in her school and community. Beyond her high achieving academics, she is involved in the yearbook, student council (treasurer), Senior Executive Board, National Honor Society, Link Crew, Junior Rotarian, hockey, track and field, and tennis. One of her advisors said, "Erin is truly making a difference in her school and community. She leads by example. She is giving of her time and her heart. She makes people happy because she makes them feel important. She reaches out to all walks of life and treats everyone with respect and kindness. Erin Genereau is an excellent example of our society's future leaders."
She is the daughter of Dennis and Christine Genereau.
A senior student chosen as "Business Student of the Month" will also be eligible for the Stowell Family Scholarship to be awarded in May.
