Lights are hung around windows with care in the hopes of creating a festive air around Cloquet. Many homes and businesses are showing their holiday spirit by decorating windows and yards around the county.

Some show a few simple lights in the windows, while others light up their entire house or business. There are the traditional outside lights, light-up Santas and angels as well as lights projected onto the houses creating moving snowflakes.

A newer tradition is enjoying a family drive on Cloquet's Dunlap Island through the variety of lights donated by Nathan Bentley, founder of Duluth's Bentleyville walk-through holiday display.

Residents can walk through other lights donated by Bentley at Veterans Memorial Park, also in Cloquet.
