SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 6, 2017
The Board of Education of Independent School District 93, Carlton, Minnesota, met in special session on Monday, March 6, 2017. Hagenah called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Members present: Emerson, Gibson, Hagenah, Karp, Lehto with Superintendent Carman and Business Manager Eiffler. Chmielewski absent.
A MOTION by Karp to approve the agenda was supported by Gibson. Motion passed 5-0.
Move to Closed Session to discuss the sale of property located at South Terrace was made at 7:08 p.m. Meeting reopened at 8:12 p.m.
A MOTION by Emerson to authorize the Superintendent to pursue further negotiations to develop a purchase agreement and/or acquisition of easements on the South Terrace property with the City of Carlton for a Water Treatment Plant and well was supported by Karp. Motion passed 5-0.

There being no further business Gibson made a motion to adjourn. Lehto supported and the unanimous vote ended the meeting at 8:14 p.m.
