Carlton County author to give talk on spiders

The free event is set for Thursday.

Carlton County will host a Community Connect Class featuring local author and award-winning science teacher Larry Weber on Thursday, Nov. 18.

The event, titled "Wonderous Webs," will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Carlton County Transportation Building, 1630 County Road 61, Carlton.

Weber will discuss more than 40 species of spiders and their webs. There will also be a drawing for signed copies of Weber's latest book "Web Watchers." Other editions of his books will be available for purchase.
