Dining in style

Mabel Geiger left her TV on all night, so she could watch the wedding of Great Britain's Prince William and Catherine Middleton.

"I saw them in the carriage and everything," said the Aspen Arms resident, sitting pretty in white gloves a hat of her own making Friday afternoon. "Those white horses, they were pretty."

Speaking of pretty, how about that bride?

"Catherine has such a beautiful figure, her dress was perfect," said Sally Dupuis in her crimson straw hat.

Geiger and Dupuis were joined at their table by Lorraine Allen, wearing what looked like a burgundy velvet hat that she'd made from a styrofoam cup covered with fabric taken from a velour leisure suit.

A number of Aspen Arms residents and staff from the Cloquet Housing and Redevelopment Authority as well as Senior Friends dined together on finger foods, wedding cake, tea, coffee and lemonade in honor of the couple, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
