Ryanne Battaglia, vice president of Business Development for Members Cooperative Credit Union (MCCU), announces the hiring of Lara Wilkinson as the organization's new marketing director.
"We are excited to have Lara on board," said Battaglia. "We think her experience with the Duluth Chamber and in the community will be very beneficial for our members and the organization."
A native of the region, Wilkinson most recently served as the director of Fuse Duluth, the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce program for young professionals. She also previously worked in journalism, marketing, and event planning as a freelancer and consultant.
"As a community-and member-focused organization, MCCU is an inspiring place for me to be," said Wilkinson, "I'm excited to be a part of a great team, doing important work centered on making life better for my friends and neighbors in the region."
Wilkinson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, with a minor in professional writing, from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Wilkinson and her husband, Nathaniel, live in Cloquet with their three children, Noel, Sophie and Jack.
