Joan Weyandt was named the new executive director at North County R.I.D.E. (NCR) in March 2014. Weyandt, a past NCR volunteer, will support NCR’s mission to promote personal growth and development through equine assisted therapeutic, educational and recreational activities, bringing strong program administration and grant-writing skills.

As NCR’s executive director, Weyandt’s responsibilities include providing leadership to staff, volunteers and clients; ensuring the delivery of high quality programs to clients; developing and managing annual fund-raising events; maintaining and enhancing relationships with donors; and working with the Board of Directors on strategic plans and goals consistent with NCR’s mission.
