Little Caesars Pizza is aiming to open Tuesday, Aug. 17 in the Pine Tree Plaza, next to Blockbuster Video, said Josh Rapp, co-owner and manager of the carry-out restaurants in Duluth and Superior. Why Cloquet? "You come to this town and see all the traffic and the people moving around, it just made sense," Rapp said. "Plus we get a fair amount of people from Cloquet and Esko at our store in Duluth and they all ask us to open up in Cloquet."
While Little Caesars is most famous for its $5 large "hot and ready pizzas," customers can also order deep dish pizza and/or crazy bread. Sean Stone will manage the Cloquet store. Stone said he has 31 people hired so far. Store hours will run from 11 a.m. with the closing time yet to be determined. The Duluth store closes at 10 p.m. Jana Peterson/ jpeterson@pinejournal.com
