After more than a year of limited hours or being completely closed, Cloquet’s only movie theater will return to its normal hours later this week.
Premiere Theaters announced it will begin opening to the public seven days a week beginning Friday, May 28.
The theater closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It began offering limited public showings on the weekends and private screenings during the week in January.
After Cloquet schools end for the summer next week, the theater will be open with its normal summer hours from 1 p.m. to midnight every day through Labor Day, according to a news release from Premiere Theatres.
In addition, the theater will still offer private showings outside its normal operating hours, the release said.
