Loren and Candace Nelson were lauded at a party at the Four Seasons Sports Complex given for Loren when he retired as pastor of both J.M. Paine Presbyterian in Carlton and First Presbyterian in Wrenshall. Loren, who is fighting cancer, believes one should live his life "with an attitude of gratitude."
