Thanks to a fellow parade-goer
To the Editor:
My wife and I would like to give a “thank you” to the person who was kind enough to let us enjoy the Fourth of July parade sitting down in her lawn chairs. We were near where the parade was starting by the Jarden building.
I believe it was her two grandchildren who were picking up candy and giving the candy to the late-arriving children. They also shared their bounty with us — I was very impressed by their manners.
Thanks for the uplifting experience and the use of your sharp-pointed instrument to cut open the Tastee Freeze.
