Cromwellian yearbooks are $50 per book. Order soon as quantities are limited. Families buying for members within the immediate family pay $10 less per book. Full payment is due with each order. With your order, please note the person(s) for whom you are buying the book(s). Students may pay Mr. Berthiaume; community members may drop off payments in the office or mail them to the school (P.O. There’s still time to buy your raffle tickets for the quilt that the Tri-Community Food Shelf is raffling off on Feb.14. Get raffle tickets at area businesses or from folks who work at the food shelf. Call Shel Larsen for more information.  

The ice skating rink at the Cromwell Pavilion is now ready for skating! The warming shack is open and there are plenty of skates available for people to use.

The Area Clothing Depot will take books again! Please limit donations to no more than two boxes at a time.

The gals who started the Christmas Caring Program would like to thank all three communities (Cromwell, Wright and Tamarack) for the support they received. They were able to help 40 children have a wonderful Christmas. They hope that you will continue to help throughout the coming years, too.

There will be a special birthday party on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Villa Vista/Cardinal Court for all residents age 90 and over. Everyone is welcome to attend and help our seniors celebrate their longevity.  

Please put Feb. 15 on your calendar as there will be a retirement party and 60th birthday celebration for Don and Cherie Nyberg at the Pavilion in Cromwell from 3-6 p.m.

Don’t forget that the worship service time changes on Jan. 26 to 10:30 a.m. so pastor can be at Bethlehem for their annual meeting. Bethany will worship on Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. Their annual meeting will be on Jan. 19 after church.

 Early Childhood Family Education classes will begin their winter/spring session on Tuesdays beginning Jan. 21 and will go through April 8. These are family programs offering education, fun, information and support for parents and their children ages 1 through 5. Schedule is as follows: 1- and 2-year olds, 8:45-10:15 a.m., Older 2s and younger 3-year-olds, 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Older 3s, 4- and 5-year-olds, 1-2:30 p.m. Call to register or for more information at 218-644-3716 ext. 4100 or e-mail
