Bruce Terrance Bagne

Bruce Bagne, age 76 of Carlton, MN passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Inter-Faith Care Center. He was born May 28, 1941 to Norman and Mildred (Norgaard) Bagne in Valley City, ND. Bruce was in the US Army and served in Viet Nam from 1965-66, but lost his battle with cancer.

Bruce was employed at the Northwest Paper Company for ten years but later worked for Minnesota Power and Light in the Thomson Hydro Systems where he was employed until his retirement. Bruce spent many days with his wife and best friend Gail at their cabin on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor with they enjoyed boating, fishing, barbecuing, late evening camp fires by the water and star gazing into the night skies. Every summer, on a clear day with no rain in the forecast, you would see Bruce cruising through town in his 1962 Chevy. "Rest in peace, Dear Husband."

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew, Chad Bagne and numerous other family members. Survivors include his wife Gail, brothers, David (Mary Lou) Bagne and Norman Michael "Bags" Bagne, his niece, Tara (Mike) Gies, his nephews, Anthony (Christina) Bagne and Tyler (Cydney) Bagne and numerous cousins.

We wish to thank the Carlton Ambulance Service, Dr. Clifford Chapin at Community Memorial Hospital Urgent Care, the many doctors and staff at St. Luke's Hospital, Carman and all the pleasant, compassionate staff at the Community Memorial Hospital Infusion Center, the staff at the Inter-Faith Care Center and St. Croix Hospice.
