Mildred Mary Hakomaki

Mildred Mary Hakomaki, 91 of Cromwell passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in her home. She was born July 2, 1926 in Kettle River to John and Anna Marie Hedin. She graduated from Cromwell High School in 1944. Mildred was a member of the former St. John's Lutheran in Wrenshall, the Lakewood American Legion Post 571, Duluth and the Cromwell YOT.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Hakomaki.

She is survived by four children, Alfred (Linda) Gronroos of Colorado, Mary (Jim) Pasek of Kettle River, Cynthia Gronroos of Duluth, and Jay (Julie) Gronroos of White Bear Lake; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and her twin brother, Melvin Hedin of Minnetonka.

Memorial service will be Friday, August 11 at 1 pm in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
