Cloquet Area Fire District receives K9 multi-threat vest
Hero K9 announces the Cloquet Area Fire District has received the multi-threat vest awarded to the agency for their K9, Wish. The vest was provided to the agency at no cost, thanks to generosity and support from the public, as part of Hero K9's equipment grant program.
Wish is the only accelerant detection dog in the state of Minnesota, serving the five-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Wish is a high-drive K9 who loves to work fire scenes. When not on the job, she enjoys spending time with her family.
This made-to-order equipment, provided by Safariland in Jacksonville, Fla., was shipped directly to the department through Hero K9's distributor, Streicher's in Minneapolis, proudly serving public safety professionals since 1953. A complimentary BarkBox was sent to Wish following the grant award notification in November 2016, thanks to Bark & Co., in New York, who provides a complimentary gift to the department for each K9 receiving equipment related to Hero K9 equipment grant awards.
