Cloquet High School announces January Business Student of the Month

Cloquet Senior High School Business Department has announced that Brittney Woodward is “Business Student of the Month” for January. Students who apply for this award are chosen based on their activities, work experience, business courses, grades earned, a letter of recommendation and an essay written by the student.

Woodward, a senior at CHS, is a dedicated person who strives for excellence in her academics, extra-curricular activities, and community. She is involved in track, tennis, pep band, Link Crew, National Honor Society, Junior Rotarians, and Young Life.

Woodward has an extensive experience volunteering in the community, including highway cleanup, Ruby’s Pantry, Knights of Columbus, Vacation Bible School, mission trips, Feed My Starving Children, and helping with local races such as the North Shore Inline Marathon and Grandma’s Marathon.

Her plan after high school is to attend Hibbing Community College to major in business and photography in pursuit of her childhood goal of owning her own photography studio.

She is the daughter of Joseph and Diane Woodward.
