Valentine's Day exhibit opens at CCHS
The Carlton County Historical Society announces an Exhibit Opening on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, Feb. 14, from noon to 4 p.m. at its museum at 406 Cloquet Ave., Cloquet.
The new exhibit called "What's Cooking?" features gadgets, appliances and equipment from the kitchens of Carlton County's past. Aprons, recipe books and photos help us remember the way we used to cook and bake. Hundreds of antiques and collectibles from the Carlton County Historical Society collection make up this remembrance of hearth and home.
Homemade Valentine treats and punch will be served at the exhibit opening. Sample Carlton County baking while feasting your eyes on memories of grandma's kitchen.
Admission to the museum is $1 with CCHS members and children under 12 admitted free of charge. The museum is handicapped accessible.
