Cloquet native and unofficial historian Joe Peterson is the Grand Marshal for the Fourth of July parade this year. Peterson is thrilled to make his own little bit of history, and plans to dress in red, white and blue for the occasion. After facing several health challenges over the past year, including a tumor, aneurysm and a stroke, Peterson is on the mend and cancer-free, he said.  “I’m just grateful to be here to celebrate with everyone,” Peterson said.
