Historic holidays find Crazy Troop thankful for strong community support
The soldiers of Crazy Troop were undoubtedly a key part of writing America’s final chapter in Iraq. The last Crazy Troop Convoy Escort Team completed its final mission in Iraq and crossed the border into Kuwait less than 24 hours before the final American convoy officially ended Operation New Dawn.

All hearts come home for Christmas
About a dozen of the soldiers serving with the Cloquet-based CRAZY Troop of the Army National Guard in Kuwait were lucky enough to come home for Christmas this week.

Crazy Troop observes Sept. 11 with combat patch ceremony
The soldiers of Cloquet's Crazy Troop marked the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks with a combat patch ceremony. Currently Crazy Troop is stationed in Iraq.

Catching up with Crazy Troop
A lot has happened since the incredible sendoff the soldiers of Crazy Troop, 1-94 CAV received at the Cloquet Armory in May. Shortly after their local goodbyes, the soldiers departed for mobilization training at Fort McCoy, Wis., before departing for overseas. The soldiers knew that significantly more intensified training awaited them, but most were not prepared for what Mother Nature had in store.

Community bids farewell to its soldiers
The local unit of the U.S. Army National Guard is part of a massive deployment to the Middle East that is arguably the largest since World War II. The soldiers said they are ready for it.
