Cloquet- Esko-Carlton boys soccer heads to their first-ever boys soccer state tournament in school history after a 1-0 overtime win over the Hilltoppers in last Thursday’s Section 7A championship game at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth. CEC (14-3-2) plays second-ranked Class A power Benilde-St. Margaret’s (16-2-1) Thursday, Oct. 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the state quarterfinals at Husky Stadium in St. Cloud.
The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys hockey team picked up a quality win in the quarterfinals of the Heritage Hockey Classic on Tuesday night – hanging on for a 4-3 victory over Bemidji to improve to 6-3-0 on the season.
