Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys hockey Coach Dave Esse said before his team’s Section 7AA semifinal with Duluth East that his team needed to score a power-play goal and hold the Greyhounds’ power play off the board for the team to have a chance. James Robert Wiggins
James Robert Wiggins, 55, of Superior, Wis., passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013. He was born Nov. 4, 1957, in Duluth, Minn., to John W. and Mary P. (Pflum) Wiggins and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1976. Jim had been a car salesman for Krenzen's and North Country Auto Exchange and was currently working in the Wal-Mart Deli in Cloquet, Minn. He was an avid collector of "treasures" from old memorabilia to coins and other unique odds and ends. Jim loved reading unusual books about a wide variety of things. Every Friday you could find him out at garage sales. He was forever adding to his collections. Jim was a very engaging man and everyone enjoyed talking to him. He was fun spirited, had a million-watt smile, and a boisterous laugh.
