Robert 'Bob' Morrison
Robert "Bob" Morrison, 87, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Viewcrest Nursing Home in Duluth, Minn. He was born in Duluth on April 23, 1926, to Winifred (Leonard) and Henry Morrison. Robert graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He also attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth for two years. Robert was united in marriage to Shirley Tester on June 10, 1948, and was employed by Potlatch Corporation in Cloquet, Minn., for 33½ years, retiring in 1986. Robert was a member of the Potlatch Quarter Century Club, AA, and an active volunteer in the American Red Cross disaster service. He served on many natural disasters, including the World Trade Center terrorist attack.

John 'Jack' Wilzbacher
John "Jack" Wilzbacher, 92, a lifelong resident of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Essentia Health in Duluth, Minn. He was born July 25, 1920, in Duluth to Mabel (Saxton) and Thomas Wilzbacher. John proudly served in the US. Army during World War II in the Battle of the Bulge with the 30th Infantry Division. Among Jack's many medals received, he was most proud of being a Bronze Star recipient. He was united in marriage to Betty Johnson on March 30, 1946, and they made their home in Cloquet. John and Betty established and operated the Cloquet Greenhouse for approximately 35 years. He was especially proud of being the first FTD florist in the area. He was a big game hunter and enjoyed life at his cabin on Pequaywan Lake. John was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and Hebert-Kennedy VFW Post 3979 in Cloquet.

Beatrice Margaret (Hoeschen) Pryatel
Beatrice M. Pryatel, 92, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013, at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague, Minn. She was born May 15, 1921, in Albany, Minn., and grew up in Freeport, Minn. Her parents were Margaret (Fabeck) and John Herman Leo Hoeschen. Beatrice was the third of seven children in the family: six girls and one boy - Evelyn, Helen, Beatrice, Jeanette, Leo, Joan and Viola. Beatrice graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Freeport. She was an excellent student, sang solos, took part in plays and participated in a harmonica band.

Eileen Elizabeth Graehling, 69 of Saginaw, Minn., passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. She was born July 12, 1943, in Duluth, Minn., to Theodore and Olivette (Williams) Ostman and was united in marriage to Jack Graehling on June 20, 1964, in Alborn, Minn. Eileen worked with her husband, Jack, at Carlton Automotive Machine, their family business. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She loved camping, fishing, watching deer and hummingbirds. Eileen especially loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
