She was born on Oct. 11, 1925, in West Duluth, Minn., to Emil and Dorothy (Stroud) Ruhnke, and graduated from Wrenshall High School. Lucille spent her childhood growing up in Wrenshall, Minn. She was united in marriage to Fred Mahlon Arbuckle on Oct. 26, 1946. Their children, Joanne and Jim, kept her busy with lots of activities over the years. They enjoyed camping, going to the lake and golfing. Lucille also worked at a local bakery and medical clinic over the years.
