Leslie Newton Haglin, 65, of Cloquet, Minn., died Saturday, June 21, 2012, at Essentia Health/St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minn. She was born on Jan. 23, 1947, in Cloquet to Clifton Newton and Shirley Tromblay. Leslie loved to quilt, do crafts, read and do crossword puzzles. She especially loved being with her five grandsons and her friends.

Harvey Robert Johnson, 87, of St. Cloud, Minn., died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud. He was born Feb. 27, 1925, in Superior, Wis., to Harry and Esther (Benson) Johnson. Harvey has lived in Superior, Wis.; Cromwell, Duluth, Esko and Sebeka, Minn.; and most recently St. Cloud. He had served in the United States Army until 1946. Harvey had a great passion for working with wood.

Martin Huisinger, 91, a former Cloquet, Minn., resident passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, in Coon Rapids Mercy Hospital. He was born in Canby, Minn., on March 20, 1921, to Richard and Catherine Huisinger. Martin married Miriam Luoma on May 25, 1951.

Faye Elaine McMillen
Faye Elaine McMillen, 83, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, Minn. She was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Drayton, N.D., to William and Nannie (Bjerk) Johnson. Faye worked as a beautician and also as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the Carl Anderson American Legion Auxiliary, the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary, and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church. Faye enjoyed playing cribbage, smear, and bingo.
