Albena 'Bena' Josephine Buczynski
Albena "Bena" Josephine Buczynski, 99, of Cloquet, Minn, passed peacefully on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Golden Oaks Advanced Assisted Living Plus in Proctor, Minn. Bena was a life-long resident of Carlton County, born Feb. 11, 1913, into one of the earliest pioneering families in Split Rock Township.

Brock Anderson, 18, is a senior this year. Since he and his twin sister will be graduating in the spring, he said they have nothing personal to gain if either or both of the district’s proposed referendums pass in November. But Anderson is passionate nonetheless about seeing that happen.
