In the midst of a scoreless pitchers’ duel on Tuesday, Cloquet made an error on a potential double-play ball in the top of the seventh inning and eventually lost 2-0 to Hermantown in the Section 7AA semifinals, then later fell 7-4 to International Falls in an elimination game Tuesday night at Al Nyberg Field in Hibbing.

Carlton County Health and Human Services Director Dave Lee informed members of the Carlton County Board Tuesday that the Minnesota State Legislature successfully passed a bill that will provide $2.5 million over the next two bienniums to expand the region’s successful teen suicide prevention and intervention program to a statewide initiative.
