Michael Edward Lukens died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 7, 2013. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., to Robert and Linda Lukens on Nov. 21, 1982. Michael lived a full and eventful life. As a child, he enjoyed baseball, 4-H, cub scouts, computers, and playing musical instruments. His love for music grew to be a very important part of his life. He played guitar, piano, and drums with passion. Michael played in a rock band when he was a teenager and still loved to have jam sessions with his friends. He and his brother, Tim, spent hours discussing "the greatness" of music.

James "Jamie" Charles Ranta, 54, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Essentia Health Care in Duluth, Minn. He was born July 31, 1958, in Cloquet to Donald and Vivian (Korhonen) Ranta. Jim "Jamie" worked as a behavioral specialist in group homes, enjoyed music and was a collector of friends.

Rocky graduated from Cloquet High School and was a star athlete in numerous sports including football, basketball, baseball, track, and other extra-curricular activities. He loved sports of all kinds, Polish polka music, walking, and riding a bike.
