He was born July 30, 1913, in Corydon, Iowa, to Lloyd and Elnora (Edwards) Zimmerman. Frank was united in marriage to Clotilde "Tillie" Virginia Golden on July 11, 1936, in Aitkin, Minn. He worked as a turkey and beef cattle farmer and was a school bus driver for McGregor Schools for 31 years. Frank served on the Jevne Township Board and was the township assessor for 45 years. He was a member of the McGregor Lions Club and the McGregor United Methodist Church. He will be sadly missed and was loved by many.

Barb was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school, worked with the youth, Alanon, and also with Alateen Children. She was also a member of the Hebert-Kennedy VFW Auxiliary of Cloquet and the Iron River American Legion Auxiliary. Barb loved to sew, made rag dolls and doll clothes and repaired the neighbor kids' clothes for hugs.
