William S. DeLovely
William S. DeLovely, 76, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away due to mesothelioma on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born Dec. 23, 1935, in Cloquet to William A. and Selma (Vehkoja) DeLovely. Bill graduated from Carlton High School in 1954 and served in the United States Navy from June 1954 to June 1958. He worked for the Potlatch Corporation from 1958 until 1997. Bill enjoyed his farming, hobbies, diamond willow woodwork, restoring red tractors, and attending antique tractor shows. He was a volunteer for the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, a founding member of the Perch Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Local Union 128, the Hebert-Kennedy VFW Post 3979, and the Carl Anderson American Legion Post 262.
