Local quilter creates NHL auction quilt to benefit R.E.A.C.H. program
The prefix on the license plate of June Lind’s car reads “NAP” – but that’s about the furthest thing from the mind of this talented, long-time Carlton County resident these days. That’s because while Lind is pretty much always on the go, she has been especially busy lately putting the finishing touches on a mammoth, hand-made quilt that will be auctioned off at the upcoming fundraiser golf tournament to benefit the local R.E.A.C.H. (Recreational Experiences Achieving Community Harmony) mentoring program Aug. 12.
