Wiley and the Hairy Man at National Festival gallery by Stephen Bird



  • Kirk Davis as the Hairy Man (left) and Rick Breuer as Mammy (right) perform before more than 500 people last Thursday in Rochester, New York, during the 2011 American Association of Community Theatres (AACT) festival. The festival, held every two years, featured the 12 best community theatres in the nation. The cast and crew of “Wiley and the Hairy Man” took top honors for Best Lighting Design and Best Backstage Organization. They were also nominated for Best Costumes, Best Sound Design and Best Director. Stephen Bird/AACT
