Dan married Jean Ann Peil on Sept. 14, 1963. He was a devoted husband and father of three and a grandfather of seven. His love and devotion to his family shined brightly each and every day. This gift of love is his legacy. Dan was well known for his sense of humor, his ability to stand up for what was right, was very patriotic and loved his country. He enjoyed weather forecasting, hunting, golf and antiquing. Dan worked at Potlatch in Cloquet for 43 years, retiring in 2001.
