Lucille Bernice Tasky
Lucille B. (Arbuckle) Tasky of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was born on Oct. 11, 1925, in West Duluth, Minn., to Emil and Dorothy (Stroud) Ruhnke, and graduated from Wrenshall High School. Lucille spent her childhood growing up in Wrenshall, Minn. She was united in marriage to Fred Mahlon Arbuckle on Oct. 26, 1946. Their children, Joanne and Jim, kept her busy with lots of activities over the years. They enjoyed camping, going to the lake and golfing. Lucille also worked at a local bakery and medical clinic over the years.

After Fred passed away in 1977, Lucille became very involved in quilting, playing bridge and continued to enjoy golfing. In 1983, she married Clement Tasky and they enjoyed several years together before he passed away. In 1994, she married Harley Brophy and moved to St. Cloud, Minn., where they spent many happy years and enjoyed traveling. Lucille had many hobbies including quilting, knitting, crocheting, bridge, cribbage…. She especially loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Emil "Sonny" and Arnold; and a sister, Darlene.
She is survived by her two children, Joanne Lutter of Cloquet and Jim (Mary) Arbuckle of Tualatin, Ore.; six grandchildren, Paul (Sarah) Lutter, Jason (Melissa) Lutter, Amy (Jason) Kram, Michele (Dave) Owens, Jeff Arbuckle and Kelly Arbuckle; great-grandchildren, Morgan Kram, Nathan Kram, Addison Kram, Brynn Lutter and Douglas Owens; her siblings, Luella, Harold and Ronnie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet, followed by a luncheon in the church social hall. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet.
