Rodger L. Wockovich

Rodger L. Wockovich, 79 of Carlton, Minn., passed away Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, in Valley Eldercare Center of Grand Forks, N.D. He was born on July 16, 1933, in Grand Forks, the son of Rode and Mable (Pederson) Wockovich. Rodger grew up and attended Central High School in Grand Forks and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in education. He taught school in Carlton and also did contracting work on the side.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elva (Maurice) Olson; and brother Marvin (Kay) Wockovich.

Rodger is survived by his brother Walter (Gladys) Wockovich of Grand Forks; sister, Irene (Willard) Rasmussen of Parkridge, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 6, from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service in Dahl Funeral Home in East Grand Forks, Minn. Inurnment is in Resurrection Cemetery in East Grand Forks.
