Leslie Newton Haglin, 65, of Cloquet, Minn., died Saturday, June 21, 2012, at Essentia Health/St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minn. She was born on Jan. 23, 1947, in Cloquet to Clifton Newton and Shirley Tromblay. Leslie loved to quilt, do crafts, read and do crossword puzzles. She especially loved being with her five grandsons and her friends.
Leslie Newton Haglin, 65, of Cloquet, Minn., died Saturday, June 21, 2012, at Essentia Health/St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minn. She was born on Jan. 23, 1947, in Cloquet to Clifton Newton and Shirley Tromblay. Leslie loved to quilt, do crafts, read and do crossword puzzles. She especially loved being with her five grandsons and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence David Haglin, both her parents and one brother.
Leslie is survived by her children, Rick Haglin, Jeff (Gina) Haglin Sr., and Jodie (Travis) DeMenge; five grandsons, Jesse, Jeff Jr., Cody, Brandon and Alex; sisters, Lynn (Duane) Hanson, Beverly "Jayne" (Gary) Hakamaki, Jean (Kerry) Graff and Karen Link; brothers, Tom Newton and Wayne (Sandy) Elfving; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Private memorial services will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Aspen Arms in Cloquet. Friends and family are welcome.
