Betty O. (Lund) Swanson, 99, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at the Royal Manor Nursing Home in Royal Palm Beach, Fla. She was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Perch Lake Township, Minn.
Betty O. (Lund) Swanson, 99, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at the Royal Manor Nursing Home in Royal Palm Beach, Fla. She was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Perch Lake Township, Minn.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben W. Swanson; son, Bruce D. Swanson; and Lund brothers, Sig, Andrew, Albert and Vernon; and sisters, Ida Lund, Annie Glader and Cora Berglund.
She is survived by her son, Spencer of Cloquet, Minn.; daughter-in-law, Bette of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sister, Clara Jaakola of Cloquet; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Jan. 20 at Palm Beach Memorial Gardens in West Palm Beach.
