Barge collecting barrels


A tug moves a barge used to hunt for the dumped barrels in Lake Superior about a mile offshore from Knife River in July. The Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa brought up 25 barrels dumped by Honeywell and the U.S. Army in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Bob King / rking@duluthnews.com
