Show people you care

Chally Topping-Thompson (above, right) said she was walking with her sign to be a good role model and to show people there are people who are willing to help and who care. After the march was over, she also handed out flyers asking people to write positive, healing messages on their hands and send a photo of their hand (and face in the background) to MessageKeeperFilm@gmail.com by Dec. 1. “In response to the recent violence and long-standing drug and alcohol abuse that has gripped our community, I am asking you to contribute your message to this short grassroots film with the purpose of sending a healing, supportive, positive and locally relevant message to our community,” she wrote on the flyer.
